Nature Tales
CFBG’s popular preschool story and craft time, presented in partnership with Cumberland County Public Library, is held on each first Saturday except during events or CFBG holidays. Each month we explore a different natural science theme:

Nature Tales is FREE but reservations are required and the sessions fill up quickly. Call the office (910) 486-0221 to reserve a spot for your child at one of two sessions: 10:30 am or 11:30 am. The story and craft are appropriate for our Little Bloomers (ages two to six) but all ages are welcome.
Adult Workshops
Pre-registration is required for adult workshops. For your convenience you may register over the phone (with a credit card) by calling (910) 486-0221. Mail-in registration forms are available at online. Programs designed for older children (12+) and adults; both novice and expert gradeners are welcome.
Create a Mixed Hanging Basket
Saturday, May 9, 10 a.m. – 12 p.m.
Fee: $35/$30 members
Join Carol Fleitz as she shows techniques on making a mixed hanging basket. She will show what plant to use, how to maintain, and where to place them. You will take home a plant that will make a great Mother’s Day gift.
Loving Your Lawn
Saturday, May 9, 1 p.m. – 3 p.m.
Fee: $25/$20 members
Join expert and Master Gardenersm George Quigley he teaches the techniques needed to grow and maintain a beautiful and healthy lawn.
