FULL!! A Garden for All: What Nature Means to Me

April 15, 2022 @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pm

This class is FULL! Please email  bgoldentyer@capefearbg. Nature means something different to everyone. Sometimes we picture the wonderful warmth of the sun or the mysterious depth of the sea. In this class we’ll learn where the word “nature” comes from, consider how the meaning of nature developed across history, hear from artists today about the many different things nature means to them, and then create our own collages showing what nature means to each of us.

A Garden should be a place for people to come together. This class is part of a series about defying stereotypes and appreciating diversity. Funding for this series is provided by a grant from the Cumberland Community Foundation. This is a family program and an adult must stay with the child/children. Please meet in the Children’s Pavilion. This program is completely FREE! No admission fee or membership required. Please pre-register here!
