Afterschool: Super Power Plants

Plants have amazing adaptations or superpowers that help them survive everywhere from deserts to swamps, to the open ocean. In this class, we’ll learn about some of the superpowers of plants and look at plants in the Garden including Venus fly traps, pitcher plants, lotus flowers, cacti, and staghorn ferns. This is a drop-off class. Ages 5-10. Please meet in the classroom. Come dressed to explore the outdoors. To pre-register, click here. Fee: $5 plus membership or admission to the Garden. If you register for 4 or more afterschool classes at one time you can receive a discounted $3 per class price (must be on one registration form).
