Family Art Night: Marvelous Mythical Creatures

Time: 6-7:30 pm
Create a unique, colorful unicorn, dragon, or phoenix using modeling clay, a plastic skeleton base, and decorative additions. The base body helps clay-working beginners easily bring a mythical creature to life while learning clay-working skills such as flattening and creating texture and sculptural details.  Encourage creativity and imagination with a fun family art activity that all ages can engage with.

Audience Target: This event is perfect for families looking to spend quality time together while engaging in a creative activity. All ages are welcome, and no prior artistic experience is necessary.

Format: Interactive and family-friendly, this workshop encourages participants to work together, share ideas, and create lasting memories.

Fee Includes: 

• All the supplies for each family to create 2 Mythical Clay Creatures
• Guided instruction from an experienced teacher
• Light refreshments and snacks
• A unique “Mocktail” to enjoy while creating your art
• Admission to the Garden’s Thursday night hours

Beer and wine may be purchased in the Gift Shop for adults ages 21+.
