Whether you have a spacious patio or a small balcony, growing your own herbs, vegetables, and edible flowers is easier than you think. This engaging talk will cover everything from choosing the right containers and soil to selecting tasty, easy-to-grow plants that thrive in North Carolina’s climate. In addition, to fresh vegetables and herbs, your container garden can be an engaging and attractive display with flowering companion plants, an eye-catching focal point, and brilliant colors.

You’ll leave inspired and equipped with practical tips to start your own edible container garden right away.

Adults and teens ages 10+ interested in gardening or growing food. No prior gardening experience required.
