Discover the challenges facing endangered species around the world and explore efforts to protect and conserve them. Each student will create a key-chain made with “magical” shrink plastic that intensifies the colors used in their art. Two of the featured species are still endangered while two species have recovered. Their stories will inspire students to learn about the causes of species endangerment and the importance of biodiversity.
Ages 6+ This is a drop-off class. Please meet in the classroom. Come dressed to explore outside. Preregister here.
Fee: $15 per child, $12 for members or $85 for the whole season, $75 for member
