Learn about how food has changed over the years! In this class we’ll discover the science behind farming as compare common fruits and veggies to what they looked like many years ago, we’ll go for a walk in our heritage garden, and play a learning game.
This program is part of the Let’s Eat Series of family and children’s programs exploring farming, food, and edible plants in conjunction with the Urban Agriculture Resilience Program. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Masks will be required for all participants ages 5 and up!
Fee: $5 with Garden Membership or admission, preregistration required.
Please note that unless otherwise stated, all classes will be held outside. Class size will be limited to 20 for outdoor programs and 10 for indoor programs. This is subject to change as the requirements of responsible social distancing continue to evolve. Masks will be required for all participants ages 5 and up!
