Develop your nature journaling skills whether you are just getting started, want to add visual notes to a written journal, or simply enjoy drawing what you see. Practice skills to quickly establish a framework for a drawing or description of plants in the garden to build confidence, then experiment with portable drawing and painting media. We’ll also look at strategies for organizing your journal and tools for outdoor excursions. All skill levels are welcome! Come dressed to venture outside. Fee includes a journaling kit (journal, pen, pencil, and water color pencils), but feel free to bring your favorite journal and tools! Our instructor, Jane Eckenrode, is an artist with a personal interest in natural sciences, which is reflected in her paintings and sculpture. For those earning Environmental Educator Certification, this workshop may count towards Criteria II. Ages 10 and older are welcome, with an adult. Space is limited and pre-registration is required: https://form.jotform.com/63614815685969
