Join us for a morning of exploration and discovery as we explore the fascinating world of animals, their abilities and their habitats. Nature Play Day: Amazing Animals is an interactive and educational event designed for families with children ages 2-8.
Hands-on activities and engaging exhibits highlight the incredible diversity of native wildlife. From the smallest insects to the mighty apex predators, there’s something to captivate everyone’s imagination.
Activities include:
- Animal Encounters: Get up close and personal with live animals. Our knowledgeable guides will introduce you to fascinating creatures and share interesting facts about their behavior and habitats.
- Animal Dig: Search for plastic animals in the sand pit.
- Treetop Scavenger Hunt: Explore the treetop canopy walk on a nature scavenger hunt. Use binoculars to search for birds, squirrels, and other tree top critters.
- Arts and Crafts: Unleash your creativity with animal-themed arts and crafts activities. Design your own animal masks, make model magic animal tracks, and build a nest with natural materials.
- Animal Athlete Stations: Let your imagination run wild our animal athlete stations. Run, jump, and explore as you mimic the movements of your favorite animals.
