Now-September 8th!

Guests will have the opportunity to ponder origami’s simple messages and learn its history through interpretive signage, hands-on paper demonstrations, and educational programs.

Origami means “folding paper” in Japanese. Origami in the Garden2 tells the story of this art form through a traveling collection of metal sculptures displayed outdoors in public gardens and museums. Each sculpture is inspired by a blank piece of paper that has been transformed into museum quality metal and tells the story of creativity and the art of making something out of nothing.

This exhibit will be open from May to September! Become a Garden Member and come back all summer long for free!

CFBG extends thanks to The Visual Arts Endowment, David and Helen Clark Art Museum Fund, and Community Arts Endowment of Cumberland Community Foundation, Inc., as a funder for the program.
