Preschool: Let’s Eat The Alphabet!
August 27th 10-11 am
Meet at the Outdoor Pavilion
Preschool classes are back at the Garden! In this fun outdoor class, we’ll practice our alphabet with silly stories, games, songs, and a craft that also teaches us about edible plants. We’ll also take a short hike to see the vegetables growing in the Heritage Garden and maybe nibble on a few real plants as well!
This class is the first in our new Let’s Eat Garden Series featuring preschool and family friendly programs which explore growing food, farming, and edible plants in connection with the Urban Agriculture Resilience Program and the wonderful crops being grown in the Heritage Garden. The class will be held entirely outdoors in our covered pavilion to allow for social distancing.
Preschoolers must be accompanied by an adult. The program is best for 3-5 year olds, though all ages are welcome.
Fee: Free with membership or admission.
