We can all be scientists when we ask questions like how does this work, why does that happen, or which animals live here. In this class we’ll enjoy a science themed story time and rotate through science activity stations designed for preschoolers. Activity stations explore what floats, how sound works, the way magnets push and pull, and even how friction slows things down. Ages 2-5 with a parent or guardian. Please meet in the Children’s Garden Pavilion (if the weather is very cold or rainy we may meet in the classroom.) Come dressed to explore outside. Preregister here. There are two back-to-back one-hour sessions of this class. The same class is offered twice to accommodate more kids. Fee: $3 per child plus regular membership or admission. Children younger than 2 may accompany an older sibling at no extra cost.
