Description: Discover the amazing world of insects and the many incredible ways they support life on Earth. Presented by Laissa Cavallini, a NCSU graduate student and entomology researcher, this class will introduce the basics of insects and the benefits of native insects. You’ll have a chance to ask all your insect related questions. Also explore cutting edge research on biological control of insect pests. Finally, meet live insects from NC State University’s collection.
Audience Target: This presentation is geared at adult learners, but all ages are welcome!
