Come see the Garden in a different light, we are extending our hours to bring you Third Thursdays! Beginning March 16th and continuing through September, come soak up nature till 9 PM in the Garden. Each month’s “Third Thursday” is a bit different from the next and sure to be fun! Evenings are free with a membership or paid admission!

Sept 21st- Foodscaping 101

Want to learn how to be sustainable? Author & Horticulturalist, Brie Arthur, explains how you can eat your yard with edible landscaping. Gail Morfesis & Friends will be performing and Skewed Up will be on site for delicious food! As always, our cash bar will be open for beer and wine purchases!

Brie Arthur:

Brie has fine-tuned her signature design technique of Foodscaping, a sustainable landscape practice that embraces beauty and utility. Working with public school systems and suburban developments, Brie is the changing the way green spaces are designed and utilized. Encouraging everyone to “think outside of the box,” learn how pairing edibles in a traditional ornamental landscape increases biodiversity and adds purpose to everyday spaces. The best edible and ornamental plants are featured to inspire attendees to create purposeful landscapes that engage people of all ages. Organic growing insights are shared to encourage professionals and homeowners to embrace sustainable practices.


Gail Morfesis & Friends present a varied program of music with a fun folk and international flavor. Musicians for the evening include: Gail Morfesis, a soprano who is a Fayetteville favorite that performs in seven languages, Classical guitarist Champion D. Saint-Amand, Betty Fisher Member of the American Accordionists Association and big band, Second Time Around, and the Cape Fear Chordsmen, well known men’s barbershop group.

April 20th- Beer, BBQ, and Boots

Throw on your boots and buckles and come the Garden for extended hours to dance the night away!

May 18th – Beachy Keen

Relax and dance the shag to some Carolina beach music. Purchase food from Skewed Up and enjoy beer and wine from our cash bar while you dance the night away!

June 15th- Piano Pizazz

A night of tickling the ivories with Casey T. Cotton who will have you laughing the night away!

July 20th- Garden Folk

Enjoy folk music and meet Mark Weathington, author of Gardening in the South.

August 17th- Latin Soiree

Explore the dynamic world of Cuban Salsa with Anna Fiore of A la Fiore Arts!
