Earth Day at the Garden – FREE ADMISSION DAY

Join us for a special Earth Day celebration at Cape Fear Botanical Garden with free admission for all visitors! This day promises to be filled with exciting activities and opportunities to connect with nature.

Whether you come by for a break in your workday or bring a picnic and stay all day, we’re excited to welcome you to the Garden during one of its most beautiful seasons.

9:00 am – 5:00 pm (last admission at 4:15pm)

• Seed Ball Craft (all ages) – starting at 1p
• Yoga on the Lawn (30 min. – all skill levels – please bring your own mat) – starting at 10a & 2p
• Worms for Vermicomposting Info Session – 10a
• Composting Q&A + Demo – Heritage Garden – 2p
• General Store & Farmhouse open in the Hazel McCauley Heritage Garden Complex – 12noon-2p

NOTE: The Garden does NOT have a cafe or restaurant on site. The Gift Shop offers basic snack options. You MAY bring your own food and drinks (no alcohol) into the Garden if you are planning to stay with us throughout the day. Strollers, wagons and coolers are all welcome.
