Plant ID Workshop — Join Therapeutic Horticulture Program manager Mallory Schroer, plant enthusiast and nature lover as we peruse the garden, admiring and identifying the plants that we see on our walk. You may never know what we will see on our excursion into the garden.
We are primarily looking for identifiable weeds, flowers, herbs, mushrooms, shrubs and trees that may have some importance (ie. edible or are toxic)
You will receive a small notebook and writing utensil in a colorful canvas bag for recording our findings and anything else that you find interesting.
The Plant ID portion of the class will cover one part of the garden for the first session and a different part of the garden for the next.
Each class is $15 for members and $20 for non members.
Scheduled class times:
August 17th, 5:30pm – 7:00pm
September 21st, 5:30pm-7:00pm
