Description: Join in an outdoor adventure for the whole family! Discover life under the water as we use nets to look for small fish, tadpoles, freshwater shrimp, and dragonfly nymphs. Please dress for the possibility of getting muddy!
What to Expect:
Who Should Attend: Families of all ages and sizes are welcome. Children of all ages can participate with locating and holding pond animals, while children ages 6+ will be able to independently hold and handle our pond nets.
Family Programs
Our family programs are designed for individuals of all ages to immerse themselves in the wonders of nature. Our Saturday sessions feature engaging activities such as tadpole catching, campfire building, and flower planting, providing a joyful and educational experience for everyone.
Fees Include:
– A unique experience allowing all ages to explore life under the water.
– An opportunity to learn about water quality and aquatic ecosystems
– Use of pond dipping equipment including nets and buckets
Location: Please check in with the Gift Shop and then meet in the Classroom. In case of rain this event will be rescheduled.
Fee: $30 per family, $20 per family for Garden members.
