Enter the intricate world of spiders and their amazing creations – webs! In this class, students will unravel the mysteries of spider silk and the different types of webs spiders spin. We’ll use spray bottles to safely examine spider’s webs looking for funnel webs, cobwebs, and the classic orb webs. Participants will gain a deeper understanding of spider behavior, adaptations, and the ecological importance of these fascinating arachnids.
Ages 6+ This is a drop-off class. Please meet in the classroom. Come dressed to explore outside. Preregister here.
Fee: $15 per child, $12 for members or $85 for the whole season, $75 for members
