Hands-on activities, games, and learning opportunities are all leisurely designed so families can explore.
Activities include:
- Live Animal Presentations with the Museum of Life and Science
- Build a Bug Station: Create and build your made-up insect!
- Insect Touch Table: Discover Tiger Beetles, Blue Morpho Butterflies, Huntsman Spiders, and more! This is your chance to look up close at preserved insect specimens.
- Create a Fossil: Make a bug fossil using modeling dough.
- Camouflaged Bug Hunt: Can you spot all the sneaky insects hiding in the Garden?
- Games and Puzzles: Enjoy a selection of insect games and puzzles all available in the Children’s Pavilion
- Insect Actions Obstacle Course: Climb through the spider web, duck through the ant tunnel, flutter like a butterfly, and jump like a grasshopper!
