Happy Hummingbirds: Come discover the tiny wonders of the garden! Preschoolers will learn all about hummingbirds—how they fly, what they eat, and why they’re so special. Get engaged in exploration, stories, and a craft Children will experience the magic of these colorful birds up close, all while honing their observational skills and appreciating the beauty of nature.
Preschool Classes: Cape Fear Botanical Garden preschool programs engage and excite young learners through storytimes, hands-on learning projects, and outdoor explorations. Encourage your child’s love of nature, art, and science with themed programs designed especially for our youngest garden explorers.
Target Audience: Ages 2-5 with a parent or guardian. Siblings are welcome to accompany, but must be included on the registration form.
What to Know? Come dressed to explore outside. There are two back-to-back one-hour sessions of this class. The same class is offered twice to accommodate more kids.
Preschool Benefits:
Location: Please check in with the Gift Shop for class location. Preschool may meet in our classroom or our Children’s Garden Pavilion.
Fees: $15 per child, $5 for members. Fee includes preschool class activities plus Garden admission for one adult and the child. Children younger than 1 may accompany an older sibling at no extra cost.
