Join Linda Sue at the Garden to hear about the conditions in which daylilies thrive and the best techniques for cultivating your own daylilies. Wear your walking shoes and bring a sun hat for a special Daylily Garden tour.

Presenter: Linda Sue Barnes, retired Professor of Biology at Methodist University, is a longtime gardener and loyal member of the volunteer group at the Cape Fear Botanical Garden. As a Master Gardener, she serves the garden in a plethora of capacities, including leading adult and children’s tours and tending the daylilies. Together with Garden employees and FTCC Horticulture students, Linda Sue is instrumental in creating the Daylily Garden as it exists today. She continues to encourage all people to be creative in their gardening.
